Monkey Mia is home to one of Australia's most famous tourist attractions - the Monkey Mia dolphins. It is located on the eastern shore of Peron Peninsula, about 23 kilometres from the town of Denham in the Shark Bay World Heritage Area.
Every day the bottlenose dolphins swim to shore to interact with visiting tourists. They usually visit the shore up to three times a day and more frequently in the mornings. The dolphins are protected by WA’s Department of Environment and Conservation. If you are lucky you may even get the opportunity to feed the dolphins under the supervision of a national park range.
Ningaloo Reef is the perfect holiday destination for scuba divers and snorkellers. The world re known Ningaloo Marine Park stretches 260 kilometres along the coast, from Bundegi Reef near Exmouth to Amherst Point near Coral Bay. Here you can lie on pristine beaches or swim amongst tropical fish and the world’s largest fish, the whale shark.

Getting to the Coral Coast
Domestic flights operate from Perth to Learmonth (Exmouth/Coral Bay), Carnarvon, Monkey Mia (Denham), Kalbarri and Geraldton.
International flights operate to Perth with connections to major towns in the Coral Coast region.
The Brand Highway, which becomes the North West Coastal Highway at Geraldton, is the main road from Perth through the Coral Coast. All major towns on the Coral Coast are either situated on the highway or connect directly to it.
By Coach / Bus
Greyhound Australia offers regular services to Western Australia's Coral Coast. TransWA also runs a bus service to Geraldton and Kalbarri.
