of Melbourne.

Victoria’s largest snow making facilities which

The village sits in an alpine bowl
and lifts provide access to both sides of the mountain.
An excellent dedicated terrain park is built each
year and often has the largest half pipe in Australia.

In summer, hike the Bogong High Plains.
Experience the alpine ash and snow gum forests and
the rolling country of the High Plains and visit
old cattle drovers huts. The Bogong Plains are a
sea of colour in the summer months with a wide range
of alpine flowers in full bloom.
The rivers and reservoirs provide
excellent locations for fishing, boating and other
water sports. Lake Dartmouth to the North East of
Mount Bogong is one of the best freshwater fishing
spots in Australia.

Falls Creek is an easy days drive from Sydney and 41/2 hours from Melbourne.
The road to Falls Creek is safe and cleared of snow daily, which means that
chains are rarely fitted. Carrying chains, however, is compulsory during
winter and can be hired.

By Air
There are regular flights into Albury or Melbourne Airport, with connecting
coaches direct to Falls Creek.
