About Stieglitz
Stieglitz is located just to the East of St Helens overlooking scenic Georges Bay to the west and the Ocean to the east. It is one of the eastern most towns in Tasmania.
The area around Stieglitz is a popular game fishing capital of Tasmania. Nearby St Helens is the host for the St Helens Game Fishing Classic held each March. It attracts visitors to the area from Tasmania and interstate.
From Stieglitz you can easily walk to the spectacular Peron Dunes and explore the magnificent ocean beaches. For scuba divers there is the adventure of exploring the large kelp forests and underwater caves.
