South Hobart is know for its many beautiful houses including the classical Georgian residence, Milton. It is also home to the famous Cascade Brewery, the oldest brewery in Australia.
Huon Road, formerly known as "The Huon Highway", runs through South Hobart and was the major access route to the Huon Valley.
