About Stanley & North West
The North Western region of Tasmania
is a land of contrasts with spectacular coastline,
fertile fields carpeted in tulips, native bushland,
ancient volcanic land forms such as "The
Nut", and historic villages such as Stanley.
On the far north-west tip the sea air which sweeps
in on the winds of the Roaring Forties, has been
tested as the world’s cleanest.
