About Moonah
Moonah is a large suburb with a business district within the Hobart area, Tasmania.
Originally the area that is today known as Moonah was land given free to settlers along the banks of the New Town Rivulet. This land later became known as Moonah.
Moonah was the main shopping district for the northern suburbs of Hobart before Glenorchy became a city.
