The Huon Valley is located about
40 minutes south of Hobart. The valley area and
D'Entrecastaux Channel are home to an interesting
mix of farmers, craftspeople, orchardists, loggers,

Along the shores of the channel
lie Kettering and Woodbridge. Kettering is the
departure point for the ferry to Bruny Island.

half of Tasmania's apples are produced in this

southern most town - Southport.

North and South Island separated by "The

Huonville
For the food lover Huonville is a great destination
with more than half of Tasmania's apples grown

During March the Huon celebrates the annual Taste
