About Perisher Valley
Perisher Valley formerly known as
Perisher Blue Ski Resort is locate in the NSW
Snowy Mountains
and offers visitors a wide range of accommodation
to suit your winter ski and snowboard accommodation
needs. Perisher accommodation includes ski lodges,
chalets, hotels and Bed and Breakfast accommodation.
Perisher has a base elevation of
1605m, making it one of the highest ski resorts
in Australia.
Perisher Ski Resort combines Perisher
Valley, Blue Cow, Smiggin Holes and Guthega the
ski resort, it has over 50 lifts across 7 peaks.
Perisher’s tagline is ‘you can ski
all day and never see the same runs twice’
and one look at the piste map will confirm this.
All levels of skiers and snowboarders
will find something to amuse themselves in Perisher.
Beginners will love Pleasant Valley,
the resort’s dedicated beginners area, served
by it’s own express chairlift. Intermediates
will find several long, cruising circuits to challenge
and amuse. Experts are well catered for with some
very good bump runs, extensive tree skiing and
even a double black diamond - "Kamikaze".
Night skiing, cross country skiing
and snowshoeing are also available.
Perisher operates a ski school for
all levels.

Facilities
Off the slopes there is plenty
to do with a lively après ski scene rumbling
on until late in the bars of the Village until
late and dozens of restaurants.
Perisher has shopping (boutiques/gift
stores), cafes, restaurants, massage centre, leisure/fitness
centre, ATM and childcare facilities.
Equipment hire is available for
downhill skiing, alpine touring, cross-country
skiing, snowboarding or snow-shoeing both in the
resort or from a range of outlets and shops in
the region.
A free shuttle service operates
in winter between Perisher Valley and Smiggin
Holes to accommodate night skiing and boarding.
Parking
Day parking is located at Perisher
Valley, Smiggin Holes and Guthega. Overnight parking
however, is limited to only a few properties.
The main overnight parking is located at the Ski
Tube base terminal at Bullocks Flat . The Ski
Tube base terminal is located on the Alpine Way
next to Lake
Crackenback resort.
