Adaminaby South lies along the western side of Lake Ecumbebe in the NSW Snowy

Lake Eucumbene
Lake Eucumbene is the largest of the man made lakes in the Snowy Mountains
Hydro Electric Scheme and was completed in May 1958. It is capable of containing
4 799 100 ML of water.
Lake Eucumbene is a haven for trout
fishing. Regular competitions are held in the area
and all the dams are kept well stocked.
